We are so excited to finally be able to share with you our beautiful new branding and website, which has been designed and made for us by the brilliant AD Styles and Jay Burt.

The process of designing a new logo for Creative Communities has been supported and developed by group members, our steering group and BDP volunteers. Thanks to funding from Bristol City Council we were able to outsource the final design and build and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s turned out.

Developed alongside our group members

We wanted our website and logo to look welcoming, inclusive and to be easy to navigate. And above all we want people who aren’t already part of our community to feel welcome and able to take that first step into taking part. Our wonderful steering group, which is made up of group members and arts professionals, spent a lot time workshopping, talking and developing our values and a mission statement that reflects what defines us, inspires us, and moves us forward. It was quite a challenge to hone down many flip chart papers of many people’s ideas! But we think this sums us up perfectly.

Our Values

Inclusivity and connection

We create a welcoming, non-judgmental space where everyone is valued.

Creativity and community

We use creativity as a tool for self-expression, identity, and connection.

Empowerment and growth

We believe in the transformative power of creativity to inspire personal development.

Get involved!

So take a look around our new website, and let us know what you think. And we hope to see you in a group, or in the audience of one of our shows soon!
